Welcome to Croatia Travel & Tours, operating under Fulmar d.o.o. – Travel and Trade Company.
By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Reservations and Bookings

Booking Tour Packages

To secure your reservation, please confirm acceptance of our proposal and pay a non-refundable deposit.

• The deposit amount depends on the trip specifications and is required for bookings made more than 30 days before departure.

• The balance payment is due no later than 30 days before departure.

• For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full non-refundable payment is required.

The deposit contributes to the organization of your trip and does not represent payment for a specific service such as flights or accommodation.

2. Accommodation

After you select accommodation, Croatia Travel & Tours will confirm availability.
If unavailable, we will propose suitable alternatives, prioritizing the same price category where possible.
If no equivalent option exists, we will suggest alternatives in the nearest available category, which may alter the total trip price.

Accommodation is subject to availability and may change. If a change occurs after your deposit payment, we will inform you immediately and provide a suitable replacement or refund any difference in your favor.

3. Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Charges depend on the date the written cancellation is received:

• More than 30 days before departure – loss of deposit.

• 30 days or less before departure – 100% of total trip cost.

We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance covering cancellations for any reason.
Croatia Travel & Tours cannot be held liable for an insurance provider’s refusal to reimburse your reservation.

If any outstanding balance remains unpaid 30 days before departure, Croatia Travel & Tours may cancel your booking automatically.
No refunds are available for unused services if you leave a trip after it has begun.

Croatia Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip before departure due to Force Majeure (see Section 20).

4. Prices

Trip prices are quoted per person or per group, depending on arrangements.
All details and total costs are clearly stated in your trip proposal before payment.

5. Deposit Policy

We may prepare several preliminary itineraries free of charge for standard destinations.
For custom or non-standard trips, a planning deposit of €500 may be required.
This amount is non-refundable but applied toward your final trip cost.
If you cancel, the deposit can be used as credit for a future trip within one year.

Your package price is guaranteed only once your deposit is fully paid.

6. Changes to Reservations

Changes to confirmed bookings are not always possible.
When permitted, third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, local operators) may charge additional fees.
All such fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Adding optional excursions or services is generally permitted but may affect the overall price.

7. Passports, Visas, and Travel Documents

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that all required travel documents are valid.
Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and have at least four blank pages.

Visa requirements vary by nationality; please verify with the relevant consulate.
Any penalties or costs due to incomplete or incorrect documents are your responsibility.

All passenger details (names, addresses, contacts) must match passport information exactly.
Fees from incorrect or changed data (including spelling corrections) are borne by the traveler.

8. Insurance

Croatia Travel & Tours arranges trips using independent, trusted partners.
We are not responsible for accidents, medical expenses, repatriation, loss of luggage, or cancellation costs.
All travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering these risks.

9. Accommodation Policies

If your confirmed accommodation is unavailable upon arrival, we will provide an alternative of equal or higher value.
Check-in and check-out times are set by accommodation providers.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may incur extra fees.

10. Transfers

Transfers by car, minibus, bus, train, or ferry are included as stated in your itinerary.
Croatia Travel & Tours is not responsible for missed transfers caused by delays beyond our control (e.g., flight delays).
We will assist in arranging alternatives, but any additional costs are the traveler’s responsibility.

11. Excursions (Day Trips)

Excursions may be modified or replaced with equivalent activities of equal or greater value.
Refunds or surcharges apply only if there is a difference in price between the original and the substitute excursion.

Travelers must arrive on time for scheduled excursions.
Missed activities due to lateness or negligence are non-refundable.

12. Complaints

If you experience an issue during your trip, notify your destination manager immediately to allow correction.
If unresolved, submit a written complaint by email within 15 days of trip completion.
We will review your case and respond promptly.

Croatia Travel & Tours is not responsible for airline cancellations, delays, or missed connections.
Claims related to flights must be made directly to the airline.

13. Responsibility

Croatia Travel & Tours contracts with independent service providers (e.g., hotels, transport, guides).
We are not liable for their acts, omissions, delays, or changes to services.
All services are subject to the providers’ own terms and conditions.

We are not responsible for political events, weather, strikes, natural disasters, or other factors beyond our control.

Travelers assume all risks associated with visiting destinations offered in our itineraries.

14. Disclaimer

Croatia Travel & Tours acts solely as an intermediary between clients and third-party suppliers.
Any disputes, losses, or damages arising from third-party actions are not our responsibility.
All claims should be directed to the relevant service provider or your insurance company.

15. Force Majeure

Croatia Travel & Tours is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

• Natural disasters (fires, floods, earthquakes)

• War, riots, strikes, or civil unrest

• Government regulations or travel restrictions

• Epidemics and pandemics (including COVID-19)

• Technical failures or transportation disruptions

We will act in good faith to minimize the effects and notify affected customers as soon as possible.

16. Force Majeure Credits and Refunds

If services cannot be provided due to Force Majeure:

• We may issue a Future Travel Credit valid through the end of the calendar year following the original departure date.

• Refunds are not available except in exceptional cases (death or serious illness of the traveler or immediate family member).

Refund requests must include proper documentation within 10 days of the event and at least 10 days before the scheduled trip.
Approved refunds are subject to a service fee (up to 50% of total trip cost).
Once a Force Majeure agreement is signed digitally, it is final and binding.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation.
If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to mediation or, if necessary, litigation.

The courts of the Republic of Croatia shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and Croatian law applies.

18. Traveling During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Travel during COVID-19 (or any other pandemic) is subject to local and international regulations that may change without notice.

By booking, you agree:

• To stay informed about all COVID-19 travel restrictions and comply with local measures.

• That Croatia Travel & Tours is not liable for travel disruptions, cancellations, or additional expenses due to pandemic-related restrictions.

• To maintain personal travel insurance covering medical costs, quarantine, cancellations, and other risks.

• To follow all health and safety measures required by local authorities (e.g., masks, screenings, distancing).

You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with travel during the pandemic and release Croatia Travel & Tours from any related liability.

20. Consumer Complaint Procedure

In accordance with Article 10(3) of the Consumer Protection Act (Narodne novine No. 41/14), consumers may submit written complaints regarding products or services:

All complaints will be acknowledged immediately in writing, and a written response will be provided within 15 days of receipt.
